YC (4306) reported a significant 150.45% increase in profits last year, thanks to gains from the sale of subsidiary land, with earnings per share reaching NT$4.16. Chairman Li Zhi-Xian indicated that with ample operational funds, the company will focus on expanding its core business this year and aggressively develop the "Package Master" store expansion plan. The aim is to implement a comprehensive supply chain strategy. Currently, "Package Master" has 2 stores across the Taiwan Strait, with plans to open 10 more stores in the first half of this year.
As a leading tape manufacturer, YC's subsidiary, Xinzhou Global, operates the "Package Master" chain, which achieved NT$200 million in revenue after opening 20 stores in the cross-strait market last year. Li further noted that future expansions will include 4 new locations in China’s Kunshan Chengxi and Zhoushi, as well as in Guangdong’s Panyu district. Domestically, the company plans to establish one store in Linkou, with additional locations in Shenzhen, Guangdong Foshan, Ningbo, and Hangzhou. The goal is to have a total of 30 stores across the Taiwan Strait by the end of Q2, marking a 1.5-fold increase.
Li Zhi-Xian was elected as the new Chairman of the Taiwan Pressure Sensitive Adhesive Tape Industry Association. The association held a representative meeting and conducted the election of directors and supervisors, with Li taking over as the 13th Chairman. The Global Tape Forum will be hosted in Taiwan this November, a major event for the association this year.
