The Small and Medium Enterprise Administration of the Ministry of Economic Affairs held the "Buying Power - Social Innovation Products and Services Procurement Incentive Mechanism Award Ceremony" on Wednesday, December 16, closely aligned with the United Nations' 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This initiative encourages companies to use innovative technologies or business models to address social issues. In 2020, YC Group purchased essential oils from Blueseeds, one of the social innovation enterprises, as souvenirs for the shareholders' meeting. Blueseeds is committed to using the most natural farming methods in the cultivation and extraction of its products, ensuring environmental restoration and avoiding endocrine-disrupting chemicals. As a result, YC Group was awarded the Second Prize at the Social Innovation Lab by Director-General Chen Yi-Ling of the Ministry of Economic Affairs in recognition of their efforts.
