YC Group (4306) has successfully developed the Linkou area since 2007. Today (28th), YC Group President Johnny announced that the newly completed project "Wangzhou Elite" has been awarded New Taipei City's first residential diamond-level green building certification. In addition, the company is also launching the pre-sale project "Wangzhou Prestige," which offers small to medium-sized units ranging from 30 to 55 ping.
In recent years, Linkou District in New Taipei City has seen the completion of several key developments, including the airport MRT, Mitsui Outlet Mall, Global Mall shopping district, and multiple international schools. President Johnny of YC Group stated that in their 15 years in the construction industry, the company has consistently focused on providing the best living environment for their clients. As a result, "Wangzhou Elite" features enhanced vertical greening on balconies and specially designed high ceilings with two-story island-style platforms, allowing residents to easily plant trees at home.
Wangzhou General Manager Peter added that "Wangzhou Elite" has a seismic resistance level of 6, which exceeds the 5 required by building regulations. Additionally, it has been certified by Swiss SGS Group for building production traceability, helping residents "supervise" construction. The project has also received the diamond-level green building certification from New Taipei City. He explained that while other developers in Taipei City may receive volume bonuses for green building certifications, there are no such incentives in New Taipei City. Therefore, achieving diamond-level green building status is not for increasing sales profits but purely to enhance value.
On the 28th, Wangzhou launched both the completed project "Wangzhou Elite" and the pre-sale project "Wangzhou Prestige." Peter noted that "Wangzhou Elite" offers units ranging from 65 to 95 ping and has sold 60% of the units during the pre-sale phase, with a primary customer base in the Linkou area. The total sales for this project are approximately NT$5 billion, with an average price of NT$360,000 per ping. The pre-sale project "Wangzhou Prestige" features units from 30 to 55 ping, with total sales projected at around NT$3.5 billion and an average price of NT$400,000 per ping.
Peter also mentioned that, in addition to focusing on the Linkou area this year, the "Xinzhung Phase II" project in the New Taipei City metropolitan area is expected to obtain a building permit in the second half of the year, with construction possibly starting next year. The project will include a hotel and a residential building, with the hotel having approximately 150 rooms and the residential building offering over 80 units, featuring smaller unit sizes.
Regarding the hotel business, Peter noted that the company currently owns the Youyi Hotel in Shilin, Zhongzheng, and Linkou. The upcoming Xinzhung hotel will be distinct from the others, with plans to build a five-star hotel to differentiate it from the market.
