With new production additions, downstream plastic manufacturers Yongyu (1323) and YC (4306) are set to accelerate their operations in the second half of the year. Yongyu is expected to perform better than the first half of the year due to the benefits from China’s urbanization policies, and the completion and commissioning of new facilities at its Rende plant will further boost operations.
Additionally, YC has launched its seventh dual-axis BOPP production line, increasing its total monthly capacity from 12,500 tons to 15,000 tons. Its investment in ACHEM has also added three new production lines, and with a shortage of PVC tape, ACHEM's performance is expected to grow by over 10% in the second half of the year compared to the first half.
