Taiwan's leading tape manufacturer, YC Group, has announced its revenue performance for February. YC (4306) reported consolidated revenue of NT$1.246 billion for February, a 24.26% increase compared to the same period last year. Its subsidiary Achem (1715) reported consolidated revenue of NT$785 million for February, up 25.00% year-over-year. Xinzhou Global (3171) reported consolidated revenue of NT$108 million for February, an increase of 0.46% compared to the same period last year.
Xinzhou Global (3171) experienced only a 0.46% year-over-year increase in February's revenue due to fewer working days and a decline in order volumes caused by inventory adjustments by large clients in mainland China. Looking ahead, once client inventory adjustments are completed, the company expects a stabilization in packaging material performance, and operations are projected to return to a growth trend starting in March.
Achem (1715) benefited from stable growth in orders from the Middle East, the Americas, and mainland China, leading to a 25.00% increase in overall revenue for February compared to the same period last year. Looking ahead, with continued growth in export orders and the commencement of operations at the Haian plant in the first quarter, the company expects gradual growth in its performance.
YC (4306) saw a 24.26% increase in consolidated revenue for February compared to the same period last year, driven by stable growth in its tape and film businesses, stable rising crude oil prices, and increased export volumes in the tape industry. Looking forward, with continued rises in oil and raw material prices and anticipated profit contributions from the completion of the Linkou Ultra-premium Project in the second half of the year, the company is cautiously optimistic about its overall performance. |
