YC Group: January performance was affected by the New Year holiday.

Taiwan's leading tape manufacturer, YC Group, announced its revenue performance for January. YC (4306) reported consolidated revenue of NT$1.216 billion for January, a decrease of 15.66% compared to the same period last year. Subsidiary Achem (1715) reported consolidated revenue of NT$772 million for January, down 21.14% year-over-year. Xinzhou Global (3171) reported consolidated revenue of NT$137 million for January, a decrease of 13.00% compared to the previous year.
Xinzhou Global (3171) experienced a 13.00% decrease in January’s overall revenue compared to last year due to fewer working days caused by the Lunar New Year holiday. Looking ahead, with stable increases in packaging demand orders in Taiwan and ongoing orders from large clients in mainland China, operations are expected to recover and grow steadily.
Achem (1715) saw a 21.14% decrease in January’s overall revenue compared to last year due to fewer working days caused by the Lunar New Year holiday. Looking ahead, with continued increases in export orders and the expected commencement of mass production at the Hsian factory in the first quarter, overall operations are expected to maintain a gradual upward trend.
YC (4306) experienced a 15.66% decrease in January’s overall revenue compared to last year due to fewer working days caused by the Lunar New Year holiday. Looking forward, benefiting from steady growth in tape and film businesses, stable increases in crude oil prices, gradual growth in tape industry exports, and profit contributions from the completion of the Linkou premium project in the second half of the year, operational performance is expected to continue gradual growth.
