Taiwan's leading tape manufacturer YC Group has announced its revenue performance for August. YC (4306) reported consolidated revenue of NT$1.493 billion for August, an increase of 10.33% from the previous month. Its subsidiary Achem (1715) reported consolidated revenue of NT$1.003 billion for August, up 8.80% from the previous month. Xinzhou Global (3171) reported consolidated revenue of NT$137 million for August, an increase of 8.94% from the previous month.
Xinzhou Global (3171) experienced revenue growth in August due to increased demand for packaging materials in Taiwan, with an 8.94% month-on-month increase. Looking ahead to the second half of the year, which is a peak season for cloud business acceptance and high demand for electronic and food packaging materials in Taiwan, the company is expected to continue stable growth.
Achem (1715) benefited from the continued recovery of orders in the Middle East, the Americas, and mainland China, as well as improved operational efficiency at its Haian plant, leading to an 8.80% increase in overall revenue for August. Looking ahead, with continued growth in export orders, the company is expected to maintain gradual growth.
YC (4306) saw a 10.33% increase in overall revenue for August compared to the previous month, due to stable growth in its tape and film business, as well as increased revenue from Achem's petrochemical operations due to higher selling prices. Looking ahead, with stable crude oil and raw material prices and the anticipated profit boost from the completion of the Linkou Ultra-premium Project in the fourth quarter, the overall operation is expected to be cautiously optimistic.
