YC Group (4306) is expanding into the youth hostel market with a new investment of NT$350 million. Their hotel brand, "Uinn Hotel," is launching its second property, "Uinn Travel," in the popular Ximen tourist area. This move targets the backpacker and independent traveler market. The hotel is expected to achieve an average occupancy rate of 60-70% in its first quarter of operation, adding a new dimension to the group’s portfolio and boosting overall revenue.
YC’s NT$350 million investment in the "Uinn Hotel" brand includes high-standard facilities and management by a professional hotel team, which is anticipated to enhance operational performance. The opening of "Uinn Travel" is expected to significantly contribute to the group's new layout and revenue growth.
According to General Manager He of Uinn Hotel, "Uinn Travel" will be the second hotel under the Uinn Hotel brand, with a third location, "Uinn Business Hotel Shilin," scheduled to open on Chengde Road Section 4 after May. The Uinn Business Hotel will feature decor inspired by YC Group’s tape line elements, with streamlined, colorful lines creating a clean yet playful aesthetic. Additionally, the ground floor will house the "U Café," offering exclusive, creative afternoon teas and light meals. |
