Taiwan's Tape Leader YC Group Creates a Blissful Headquarters for Employees; Celebrates 118th Anniversary and Ushers in a New Era for Future Business Expansion

YC Group, the leader in Taiwan's adhesive tape industry, recently held a ceremony to mark the completion of its new headquarters building and celebrate the company's anniversary. The event was attended by notable guests from industry, government, and academia, including Vice President Wu Den-yih, Deputy Director-General Lü Zhenghua of the Ministry of Economic Affairs' Industrial Development Bureau, and other dignitaries. Global partners of YC Group were also invited to join the celebration. President Li Zhixian stated, "Since its founding in 1978, YC Group has grown from the smallest tape factory into the most vertically integrated tape manufacturer worldwide and one of the largest producers of PVC and OPP tapes. This honor is due to the contributions of our partners and all our employees!"
Since its establishment, YC Group's subsidiary companies have marked significant milestones: YC (4306) has been in existence for 38 years, Achem (1715) for 55 years, and Shin Kong Global (3171) for 25 years, totaling 118 years of combined experience, demonstrating the company's century-old wisdom and philosophy. This year, in addition to the completion of the new headquarters and the company’s anniversary, subsidiary Wanzhou Chemical received CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) certification under the guidance of KJ Management Consultants, with the award presented by Po Shu-sheng, General Manager of the British Standards Institution's Taiwan branch.
YC Group's headquarters building embodies the company's core values of "integrity, stability, innovation, and sustainable development." The landmark design of the building, inspired by the company’s key product "tape," features a 360-degree curved structure, merging modern architectural art with green environmental concepts, reflecting the ultimate goal of "sustainable development," and leading the company toward a new milestone. The headquarters took seven years from land acquisition, planning, groundbreaking, construction, topping-out, to final completion, with a market value of approximately NT$4 billion, aiming to create a comprehensive and happy workplace environment for employees.
The first-floor art hall of YC Group's headquarters showcases works by renowned artists, creating an aesthetically pleasing reception area. The third floor houses the YC International Conference Center, equipped with ten functional meeting rooms and complete conference facilities, which will be available for external rental in the future. The basement level is planned as an employee cafeteria, offering healthy and balanced meals, and includes amenities such as a KTV, gym, and reading space, addressing the lifestyle needs of employees to enhance work efficiency. The office floors of the headquarters are designed with spacious terraces on all sides, allowing natural landscapes to flow effortlessly indoors, achieving a harmonious balance between work and relaxation.
Founded in 1978 by current Chairman Li Zhixian, YC Group has grown over nearly four decades into the most vertically integrated tape manufacturer globally and one of the largest producers of PVC and OPP tapes.
