YC Group held a ceremony today (November 4) to mark the completion of its new headquarters and its corporate anniversary. President Li Zhixian stated, "Since our founding in 1978, we have worked for 40 years to transform from the smallest tape manufacturer into one of the most integrated tape manufacturing companies globally, and one of the world's largest producers of PVC and OPP tapes."
Lin Yousheng, Chairman of YC Group's subsidiary Achem, mentioned that Achem currently holds the top position globally for OPP tape production and second for PVC tape production. The company will actively promote the integration and enhancement of research and development and sales capabilities and accelerate new product development. Jiang Wenrong, Chairman of Shin Kong Global, also noted that after changing the layout of its China operations this year, overall performance has seen significant growth, with expected revenue to potentially double in the next five years.
The new headquarters building is designed around the concept of "tape," featuring a 360-degree curved structure that combines modern architectural art with a green environmental concept, reflecting the goal of "sustainable operation." The building, from land acquisition to planning, construction, and completion, took seven years to finish and is valued at approximately NT$4 billion. |
