Taiwan's leading tape manufacturer, YC Group, announced its June revenue performance. YC (4306) reported a revenue of NT$1.535 billion in June, an increase of 2.17% from the previous month. Subsidiary Achem (1715) reported a June revenue of NT$850 million, a decrease of 6.32% from the previous month, while Xinzhuo Global (3171) achieved a revenue of NT$154 million, up 5.02% from the previous month.
Achem stated that its sales have slowed due to weak domestic demand in China. Additionally, the relocation of the OPP production line from the Jiading plant to the Ningbo plant has not yet been fully reflected in its revenue. The company expects to return to normal levels once the equity transfer is completed in July. With recent vertical integration benefits becoming evident, and new Chairman Lin You-sheng actively expanding the global market and increasing production capacity, Achem anticipates significant growth in overall operations for the third quarter of this year and next year.
Xinzhuo Global noted that it has seen stable profit growth in the Taiwan market due to its long-term operations. In China, the company has been aggressively expanding into East China (Shanghai), Central China (Wuhan), and North China (Tianjin), targeting large manufacturing clients. Since May, Xinzhuo has been receiving and shipping orders, and with optical products starting to ship in July, June revenue increased by more than 5% from the previous month. Additionally, the "Bao Dashi" stores in China have shown monthly profitability.
New Chairman Jiang Wenrong of Xinzhuo Global aims to make the company the largest packaging material distributor across the Taiwan Strait. In addition to focusing on high-end clients and collaborating with major Chinese e-commerce platforms to expand packaging material distribution, the company also plans to enhance its cloud business technology and services. It is expected that the second half of the year will outperform the first half. |
