In October 2013, YC Group (4306) reported consolidated revenue of 1.734 billion yuan, an increase of 7.69% from September and a significant 12.42% growth compared to the same month last year. For the period from January to October, the group's cumulative revenue reached 16.298 billion yuan, up 11.91% from September and 4.8% compared to the previous year. The group's subsidiary, ACHEM (1715), recorded October consolidated revenue of 897 million yuan, an 8.93% increase year-on-year. For the first ten months of the year, ACHEM’s cumulative revenue was 8.738 billion yuan, showing an 11.45% increase from September and a 5% rise compared to the previous year.
YC attributed the strong October performance to the benefits of its seventh BOPP film production line, as well as growth in tape and packaging material businesses, which significantly boosted revenue. By the end of the year, ACHEM plans to add two new PVC production lines tailored to specific market needs, and the new PE plant is expected to start operations in Q1 next year, bringing new growth momentum to its business and contributing positively to future revenue and profitability.
Looking ahead to Q4, YC anticipates that with increasing market demand and the addition of new plants, its tape, film, and packaging material businesses will maintain third-quarter performance levels, and the group remains cautiously optimistic about its operational outlook.
