YC (4306) has expanded its real estate portfolio from Linkou and New Taipei City into the core area of Taipei City. Its subsidiary, Wan Chao Construction, has purchased a building located at No. 38, Section 3, Chongqing South Road, Zhongzheng District, Taipei City from the Pacific Cultural Foundation for NT$310 million.
Currently, the building generates rental income due to its proximity to the Botanical Garden, National History Museum, and prestigious schools such as Jianzhong High School and Taipei First Girls' High School. Once the leases expire, there is potential to redevelop the property into small residential units.
To increase its revenue sources, YC has also invested NT$920 million to acquire a commercial office building near the Bailing Bridge in Taipei City from Hsin Hsin. Additionally, a commercial office building on Chengde Road in Shilin has been acquired, with future plans to potentially convert it into the group's first car hotel in Taipei after the current leases end. |
