YC Group (stock code: 4306) subsidiary Wangzhou Construction has launched a new flagship project in the Linkou District of New Taipei City, following its previous developments “City’s Edge,” “World’s Edge,” and “Cloud Residence.” The new project, named “Wangzhou Extreme,” is a 29-story landmark building that has attracted significant attention from the market.
The site is located at the intersection of Wenhua 3rd Road and Siwei Road, covering an area of 1,195 ping. Positioned in the heart of Linkou's commercial zone, the development features a high-rise building with four underground floors and 29 above-ground floors. The project is divided into two buildings, A and B, each designed with a one-unit-one-elevator configuration. Building A has 4 combined elevators plus 1 freight elevator, while Building B has 2 combined elevators plus 1 freight elevator. The total number of saleable units is 165 (including 3 commercial spaces).
The development is situated near the Carrefour shopping district, ensuring convenient living and shopping. Additionally, the Guomao Cinema and Mitsui Outlet, set to open next year, are expected to transform the area into another prime commercial district along Wenhua 2nd Road, Wenhua 3rd Road, and Zhongxiao Road. These two major commercial zones will become the core areas of the new Linkou town.
The Mitsui Outlet, the most anticipated nearby development, has officially started construction this year. Covering 6.74 hectares with a total floor area of approximately 42,500 ping, it will feature boutique outlet stores, a cinema, a food court, and a high-quality supermarket with 220 shops. The outlet plans to introduce leading European and Japanese brands, as well as well-known Taiwanese brands, and will host periodic Japanese food festivals, bringing Japanese business practices to New Taipei City. It is expected to open in the second half of 2015.

Notably, the project’s corner lot location and super-high-rise design ensure that every unit benefits from light on all four sides. Adjacent to the site are the 3,000-ping Fortune Park, jointly maintained by Zhan Yue, Fu Hua, and Chang Hong, and the Far Eastern Community Art Corridor, creating a 100-meter-long urban greenbelt. Additionally, the site is about a 5-minute drive from the Airport MRT A9 Station, which will open in October next year. The journey to Taipei Main Station will take only about 30 minutes with 8 stops, enhancing the living conditions of the area.
The community lobby features a 6.5-meter high ceiling, with public facilities located on the first floor, including a Lounge Bar, an outdoor swimming pool, a children's wading pool, a steam room, a barbecue area, a KTV room, and a library. The project offers a range of practical and abundant amenities. The units are planned in sizes of 65, 70, and 90 ping, with 3 to 4 bedrooms. The interior layout is spacious with excellent lighting, and the open-plan living and dining areas provide a broad visual experience. The low corridor ratio allows for optimal unit efficiency. Materials and fittings include German LEIGHT kitchen appliances, Rinnai range hoods, BEST ovens, YKK soundproof aluminum windows, Low-E glass, electric clothes drying racks, TOTO bidet toilets, and Hans Grohe bathroom fixtures.
Expected Construction Time: 4-5 Years
The project manager indicated that, due to the 29-story height, the construction is expected to take approximately 4 to 5 years. As the development operates on a pre-sale model, both current and prospective buyers will experience relatively relaxed payment conditions. The current starting price is NT$320,000 per ping, with the smallest unit priced around NT$21 million (including parking spaces), making it highly competitive in the housing market.
