ACHEM's Performance Boosts YC's January Consolidated Revenue Surge

YC (4306) reported its self-assessed January consolidated revenue at NT$1.19 billion, a staggering increase of 264% compared to NT$327 million in the same period in 2009. This significant growth was primarily driven by the inclusion of ACHEM's (1715) performance under the YC Group. YC explained that rising raw material prices prompted customers to increase inventory, which was reflected in the January revenue. Additionally, last year’s Chinese New Year fell in January, creating a lower base, further boosting this month’s revenue
