'PackMaster,' a subsidiary of Xinzhou Global, jointly invested in by YC and ACHEM, was established with a capital of NT$100 million.
Recognizing the business potential of the cross-strait packaging materials market, which is worth tens of billions of New Taiwan Dollars annually, 'PackMaster' primarily sells packaging materials produced by the YC Group, along with other brand-name products. The company plans to open 20 stores across Taiwan and mainland China this year, with the first store launching today at YC's headquarters in New Taipei City.
Packaging materials have a wide range of applications, with a large variety of products and high demand. However, customers typically have to visit multiple stores to find what they need, which is quite inconvenient. 'PackMaster' aims to provide a one-stop packaging convenience store where everything can be found in one place.
The store offers various types of tape and packaging materials, along with storage and everyday consumer products. It also includes a dedicated section for 3M products, such as office supplies, stationery, and household items.
In 2011, Xinzhou Global plans to expand aggressively into the Taiwan market, while also laying the groundwork for 'PackMaster' in mainland China. They have chosen Shanghai as the location for their headquarters, leveraging the local resources of their parent company to maximize the dual-engine synergies of cross-marketing.
YC Group President Lee Chih-Hsien stated that with China’s 12th Five-Year Plan expanding domestic demand and the growth of free trade in Asia, the YC Group will capitalize on synergies in distribution, branding, and product portfolio to establish 'PackMaster' as a benchmark in professional chain stores. |
